In this role, you'll:

Be responsible to set and deliver a Tosca test automation strategy, tools, and implementation across manual and automation teams for real time applications.

Thrive in a hands-on Tosca functional testing role and leading a small team focused on a critical program of work. You will ensure testing aligns with program guidance and best practice test governance.

Utilise your business savvy and people management skills for a notable program of work that will play an important role in shaping a transformative digital technology landscape for Transport for NSW and the travelling public of NSW.

Assess, select and instate appropriate test automation tools and build and maintain automation frameworks using Testing and DevOps Principles.

Actively promote and provide training, support, and guidance to the team on automation techniques.

Fixed Term Full-Time role until end June 2026 | Hybrid flexible working - Team works from Burwood office every Thursday and collaborates in person based on project needs.

About you

You have significant hands-on Tosca automation expertise formed across functional testing for large program(s) of work as well as experience leading a team involved in the whole cycles of testing – following and implementing a test strategy through to successful deployment within an Agile environment.

You're also experienced in:

• Strong hands-on Tosca test automation script writing.

• Performing automation feasibility analysis.

• Designing and maintaining automation frameworks.

• Writing automation test plans and test reports.

• Flexible and open to also perform hands on manual testing and testing coordination as required.

• Working in a highly complex integrated solution environment to provide proactive governance and assurance standards and methodology across a range of systems, applications, and vendor products.

• You hold Tosca certification (well regarded)
