Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has an estimated 10+ year mine life forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces in FY26.
Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks production with exploration potential expected to grow the current high-grade resource.
The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and development of major gold mines.
Bellevue Gold has the ambitious goal of net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for the Bellevue Gold Project by 2026. This will be underpinned by a sector-leading renewable energy power station, with a forecast 70-80% renewable energy penetration rate.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day function and support of the emergency response and rescue. The purpose of the role is to assist in the delivery of company operational and commercial targets in a safe, productive & efficient manner.
Reporting to the Emergency Management Coordinator, this is an autonomous role, on a fly in fly out basis working 8 days on and 6 days rest and recover 7 Nights on and 7 days rest and recover rotation.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
Emergency Preparedness and Response
- Act as first responder for emergencies.
- Coordinate with retrieval services and emergency teams for evacuations when required.
- Maintain readiness of Emergency equipment and documentation.
- Provide structured emergency response and rescue maintenance training to Mine Rescue Team.
- Participate in the Emergency Response activities with the Mine Rescue Team.
- Participate in mock emergency training / desktop and practical demonstrations.
- Continue mutual aid communication and cross pollination with mutual aid partners.
Clinical Care Delivery
- Provide and assist in primary health care, emergency response, and clinical assessments to onsite personnel.
- Follow protocols and clinic guidelines according to WA Government Guidelines as well as Company directives.
- Ensure Poisons Permit protocols are always adhered to.
- Administer medications, treatments, and first aid in accordance with clinical protocols and skill level.
- Conduct drug and alcohol testing.
- Provide and assist with after-hours medical and emergency response as required.
Workplace Safety and Risk Management
- Regular nightshift patrols ensuring mine site and surrounds are secure.
- Adhering and enforcing after hours site entry protocols and procedures.
- Support site safety programs through lead indicators and hazard identification.
- Participate in safety meetings, audits, and risk assessments.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting in line with regulatory and company standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy legislation and ethical guidelines.
Liaison and Communication
- Communicate effectively with the WHS team, site personnel, allied health professionals, mutual aid partners and external emergency service providers.
- Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients under care.
Professional Development and Training
- Maintain current registration and certifications.
- Engage in ongoing education and training to meet the demands of remote emergency services.
Operational Support
- Assist in the management of Emergency facilities, including stock control, equipment maintenance and testing.
- Support the implementation of company health policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required by your Supervisor/ Manager.
Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience in a similar role or regional environment, preferably within mining or resources industry.
- Certificate III Emergency Response & Rescue (required).
- Underground Search and Rescue and Operate Self Contained regenerative breathing apparatus (Required).
- Certificate III health care (Minimum).
- Drug and Alcohol testing certificate (Required).
- Mental Health First Aid Qualification (Desirable).
- Good understanding of WHS principles and guidelines.
- Experience using Web based reporting programs and SharePoint.
- A proven commitment to the Safety and the well-being of the workforce.
- Proven capability to develop systems and procedures.
- Current and valid HR-B unrestricted (manual) Western Australian Driver's License (Required).
- Well-developed communication and literacy skills.
