Environmental Advisor

Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has an estimated 10+ year mine life forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces in FY26.

Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks production with exploration potential expected to grow the current high-grade resource.

The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and development of major gold mines.

Bellevue Gold has the ambitious goal of net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for the Bellevue Gold Project by 2026. This will be underpinned by a sector-leading renewable energy power station, with a forecast 70-80% renewable energy penetration rate.

The focus of this role is to ensure compliance to the Company's statutory Environmental obligations, assist in driving cultural change within the workplace to ensure all personnel understand individual and company responsibilities with respect to environmental management.

Key Accountabilities:

• Promote environmental awareness and training on environmental matters to site-based personnel.
• Conduct monitoring, reporting and compliance to obligations on all environmental licenses and approvals.
• Provide support to the Senior Environmental Advisor.
• Assist with the development of environmental documentation and the submission of internal and statutory environmental reporting.
• Assist in the maintenance and implementation of the Environmental Management System.
• Champion the site waste management program.
• Conduct inspections of all working areas as per the operational inspection schedule and Government compliance requirements.
• Ensure any instances of non-compliance or environmental incidents are managed and reported.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in environmental management.
• Work closely and collaborate with other Bellevue Gold personnel within the immediate team and across the business.
• Provide assistance with all Environment activities as required.

Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

• A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science (or a related discipline)
• Previous experience in site-based environmental role
• Computer literacy with MS Excel and MS Word and GIS programs as a preference
• Driver's License (C Class, Manual)
• Knowledge of the Western Australian and Commonwealth environmental regulatory framework, in particular, permitting and compliance under the Environmental Protection Act 1986 and the Mining Act 1978
• An understanding of Environmental Management Systems
• Well-developed interpersonal and teamwork skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines and independently
• Skilled written and verbal communication, literacy, numeracy and presentation skills
