ABOUT THE ROLE

We are growing and have created a new role  for a Content Creator to join our team.

We're looking for a confident, naturally engaging on-camera creator who can create a concept, script, shoot and edit short-form UGC style videos that drives views, engagement and sales. You'll split your time between our office, warehouse and on-location shoots (parks, pet-friendly spaces). Every day is different: one day you're filming TikToks with dogs; the next you're styling products and creating step-by-step setup videos.

The role is being offered with flexible hours during Monday to Friday to enable a work/life balance, with the potential to progress into a full-time position.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Be on camera for Reels, TikToks, Stories and short videos; direct talent (people & pets) and capture behind-the-scenes.
  • Conceptualise → plan → script → shoot → edit high-impact social content using iPhone
  • Craft captions, post, reply to comments, and monitor channels to build community.
  • Ideate and pitch creative video concepts and trend-led formats with the marketing team.
  • Film product how-to/installation guides, unboxings, and UGC-style demos.
  • Plan and run photoshoots
  • Coordinate influencer outreach, product gifting, giveaways and campaign wrap-ups.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team to support content for EDMs, websites and marketplaces.
  • Stay ahead of trends, formats and algorithms across TikTok/IG/YouTube Shorts.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Proven experience creating short-form video for a brand or creator account.
  • Comfortable on camera with strong presence and clear delivery.
  • Confident shooting and editing on a phone; basic editing in CapCut (bonus: Final Cut, InShot, Canva, Premiere, Adobe).
  • Strong styling sense and eye for composition; understanding of brand aesthetics.
  • Experience with influencer partnerships.
  • Organised, proactive, able to juggle multiple deadlines and work independently.
  • Genuine passion for pets (having a pet is a plus).

MUST HAVES

  • Ability to shoot & edit solo with iphone.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of social trends and platform best practices.
  • Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable transport (on-location shoots).

NICE TO HAVE

  • Basic lighting/audio know-how; motion titles/subs; thumbnail and cover design.
  • Experience with Shopify/EDM
  • Pet handling confidence on set.
