ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our Membership team. As a Membership Sales Officer, you'll play a key role in driving membership growth while providing exceptional customer service to our members and supporters. You'll connect with fans through outbound and inbound calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions, creating positive experiences and strengthening supporter connections with the club.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Drive membership sales through outbound calls to members and supporters selling membership products
- Convert member enquiries into sales by responding to inbound phone calls and emails with a proactive, results-driven approach
- Provide exceptional customer service (written and verbal), meeting membership targets and service standards
- Proactively surprise & delight our members through service interactions and ensure all member connections end with a positive outcome.
- Drive revenue growth by upselling memberships and consumer products, with a strong focus on upgrades and add-ons
- Assist with membership operations and projects as needed
- Represent Melbourne Football Club values in all interactions and daily tasks
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a driven, results-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a passion for sport, particularly AFL. You thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and are motivated to exceed targets. You're organised, manage time effectively, and handle customer enquiries and complaints with professionalism.
Sales experience (phone or face-to-face) and familiarity with systems like Archtics or data segmentation tools are a plus. A degree in business or sports management will be highly regarded. As this role has a game day element, availability on weekends is essential.
