THE OPPORTUNITY


An opportunity exists for an experienced Early Childhood Educator (minimum Diploma qualification) to support the delivery of our morning and afternoon program at the Early Education Centre.

This position is a permanent, part-time split-shift role, ordinarily rostered from 6:15am–8:15am and 2:30pm–6:00pm each day. Some flexibility may be negotiated in line with the operational needs of the service, and a split shift allowance will apply.

  • Demonstrate strong skills in identifying, managing and responding to risk, particularly during high-traffic times such as arrivals and departures
  • Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families and respond sensitively to their needs during key parts of their day
  • Be a calm, responsive and engaging presence who supports children's wellbeing, safety and sense of belonging
  • Be a flexible team member and all-rounder, willing to support across rooms, age groups and routines as required
