An Asian food wholesale company near Parramatta is
looking for a Delivery Driver / Delivery Officer to join their team.

This position involves working on-site from the office near Parramatta and
performing day-to-day delivery and warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan
    delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and accurate drop-offs
  • Transport
    goods safely, ensuring deliveries are completed on time
  • Load
    and unload items carefully to prevent damage during handling and transport
  • Interact
    politely and professionally with customers, confirming deliveries and
    addressing basic questions
  • Complete
    required delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures when necessary
  • Perform
    routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues
    promptly
  • Comply
    with road regulations, company safety rules, and internal delivery
    procedures
  • Maintain
    clear communication with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customer
    service teams
  • Assist
    with warehouse tasks as needed, including order picking, packing, and
    stock movement
  • Follow
    instructions from supervisors and contribute to a safe and collaborative
    working environment

Skills

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Hold a
    valid Australian driver's license (manual preferred)
  • Able
    to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 25kg
  • Communicate
    effectively in English; Japanese/Koren/Chinese language skills are a plus
  • Punctual,
    dependable, and committed to providing excellent customer service
  • Willing
    to follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Able
    to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Forklift
    license is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Prior
    experience in delivery or warehouse operations is preferred but not essential
