Qualifications & experience

  • General construction industry induction training course (White Card)

  • Current Traffic Management qualification

  • Tasks & responsibilities

  • Set up, maintain, and remove temporary traffic control schemes/signs.
  • Direct vehicles and pedestrian traffic around construction zones; ensuring the safety of construction workers and the general public.
  • Use a "Stop-Slow" sign, or maintain other similar traffic control signs and devices, to direct traffic.
  • Complete site checks and monitor traffic behaviour and/or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times.
  • Ability to be professional and remain calm when interacting with members of the public.
  • These roles are mainly on call with regular work available
