As a Project Assurance Senior Manager, you will lead in delivering professional and highly valued technology advisory services to our clients. You will have direct, client-facing engagement responsibilities and serve as both role model and trainer. Additionally, you will always demonstrate excellent client service and assists team members in developing technical and professional competency.

Position:
The Project Assurance team works with executives, boards, project steering committees and senior management at major organisations to provide assurance and mitigate risks associated with major technology transformation projects.

You will be joining a high-performance team with a track record of developing new business opportunities in high-profile Australian organisations.

The role involves identifying, mitigating, and managing risks pre, during and post project completion.

• Ensuring effective risk management practices are integrated throughout all projects.
• Fostering a risk-aware culture among project teams.
• Driving continuous improvement and promoting best practice outcomes for the client.
• Overseeing the identification, assessment, prioritization, and reporting of project risks to relevant parties.
• Effectively manage and develop relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Oversee job economics and ensure timely closure and billing of client projects.
• Enhance Protiviti's market presence and exposure to develop opportunities with new clients.
• Serve as a role model to team members by demonstrating service excellence and supporting the development of their technical and professional competencies.
• Reviewing delivery, governance and management of risk of complex transformation programs. Including:
  • Ongoing assurance for complex transformation programs / projects
  • Project health checks
  • Post implementation reviews
  • Project governance reviews
  • Traceability reviews
  • Project risk management reviews
  • System integration reviews
  • System testing reviews
  • Data migration reviews
  • Business change management reviews
  • Benefits management reviews
• Advice project boards and C suite on project related risks and issues

Position Requirements:

• The position requires travel to client sites. Out-of-town travel also may be required.
• 8+ years' work experience in industry or professional services
• Understanding and knowledge of:
  • ISO31000:2018 - Risk Management Standard requirements
  • PMboK
  • MSP
  • Prince 2
  • System implementation and,
  • Various agile, devsecops and waterfall methodologies
• Excellent project management, client relationship and time management skills
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of contemporary risk management
• frameworks, methodologies and systems
• Demonstrated effective interaction and collaboration with stakeholders to foster trusted relationships
• Previous experience leading, managing and mentoring a team, as well as driving people development initiatives
• Proven business development and relationship management skills
• Experience relating to at least two of the following areas:
  • Technology Strategy and Operations
  • Improving operational performance (IT Operations and Infrastructure)
  • Understanding and managing technology risks
• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Information Systems) strongly preferred
