This is an exciting, high-growth opportunity for an experienced internal sales leader to make a significant impact and grow market share with Heatleys Safety, Industrial and Automotive, working from our DC in Canning Vale, WA.

The Major Accounts Manager leads a specialist internal sales team and is responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience for our major accounts at all stages and touchpoints; driving sales growth, improving margin performance, and enhancing customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of highly experienced Industrial & Safety internal sales specialists to deliver exceptional service to our major customer group, providing bespoke solutions to achieve customer and sales excellence.
  • Develop and execute impactful strategies to achieve and exceed revenue, margin & profit targets, working with key stakeholders across the business to deliver outcomes.
  • Set the standard for customer service excellence across the business – role modelling and guiding others to reach best practice and continuously improve.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to enhance sales performance and service delivery across customer utilisation, pricing and performance, ensuring informed and timely decision-making.
  • Oversee a team of quoting and pricing specialists, keeping focus on winning business at the right margin.

Competencies, Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a sales team within the Industrial & Safety sector to meet and exceed targets.
  • Exceptional customer service and sales skillset, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and grow these skills within your team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated experience setting, monitoring and driving sales performance via KPIs, PowerBI reporting and other tools.
  • Strong change management capability.
