Hofmann Engineering's established engineering workshop in Perth, is seeking to fill the position of a Trades Assistant.

This will suit an energetic person who takes pride in their work and work area, is punctual, and has excellent communication skills.

About The Role

Due to an increase in work and with the future driving our need to expand our workforce, the Gearbox Refurbishment department is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our growing team.

If successful, you will be working with and learning from a very skilled and talented team of Tradesmen. Assisting wherever needed to ensure the smooth flow of work through the department. You will be working on a range of gearbox's ranging in size from 1T exciter gearboxes, slew drives, conveyor and mill drives of various sizes, as well as complex bucket wheel drives 25T plus.

Training and guidance will be provided for all aspects of the role.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

· Australian full class C drivers license, (HR Would Be Advantageous)

· Forklift License (With experience) advantageous

· Ability to learn and follow instructions

· Ability to think for yourself, with excellent time management skills

· Overhead crane experience would be advantageous

· Dogging and Rigging experience would be advantageous
