The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager - Accounting & Reporting the role includes:

  • Perform month end procedures, including reconciliations, allocations, and recharges.
  • Collate and analyse monthly P&Ls with commentaries each month.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation on multiple bank accounts
  • Maintain fixed assets register and reconciliation with GL
  • Prepare & process journals entries including credit card expenses, shared costs,
  • Process accruals, prepayment, intercompany transactions, and subsequent journals.
  • Assisting with preparation of statutory monthly and quarterly tax returns - AUS & NZ.
  • Assist with yearend processes, statutory account, tax returns (BAS, payroll tax and FBT) and external audit.
  • Support team members to resolve business and finance related enquiries and other ad-hoc requirements form the business.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

  • CPA / CA with minimum 5 years post qualification
  • Good working knowledge of accounting standards, practices, and exposure to tax regulations
  • Adaptability to working independently, collaboratively, and proactively
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet competing deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve or find solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
