We are seeking a dedicated, passionate Team Member with skills and experience in either Disability Employment Services (DES), Education and/or Business Development.

No two days are the same because no two participants or their life's journeys are the same. Our believe is that by connecting young people with inclusive employers to engage in work experience, voluntary work, further education or paid employment not only empowers the young person, but it also strengthens local businesses and makes our communities stronger. We'll provide you with the tools, training, and support you need to empower young people to find direction, develop valuable skills, and connect with local employers who believe in their true potential.
We work across Brisbane's CBD, Ipswich, Logan, and the Inner-City Northern Suburbs, we're proud to champion inclusion in the workplace that genuinely change lives.
What you'll be doing:
· Empowering individuals: Work one-on-one with young people with disabilities to uncover their talents, passions and goals. Explore employment opportunities and turning their passions into achievable career directions.
· Education: Deliver individualised employment sessions to each participant to prepare them for their employment journey.
· Co-create success stories: Partner with participants to design career roadmaps, set meaningful milestones and celebrate every win along the way.
· Partnering with employers: Engage with local businesses to understand their workforce needs and place capable, motivated young people into meaningful, rewarding roles.
· Build strong connections: Collaborate with schools, community organisations and local networks to open doors to new possibilities.
· Drive meaningful outcomes: Transform potential into purpose by assisting participants find genuine career paths and build lifelong confidence.
What we're looking for:
- A Team Member with a person-centred mindset that genuinely cares about empowering young people with disabilities to explore, gain skills, knowledge and experience towards gaining their first job through education, skills and placement.
- Be passionate, energetic, proactive and possess the ability to juggle priorities with purpose and precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong reliability and a commitment to continuity of support
- The role will commence at 30hrs/week permanent part-time, with the opportunity to transition into full-time
- A willingness to travel as we provide supports in Brisbane CBD, Brisbane North, South, Ipswich & Logan
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different environments
- Experience in Disability Employment Services (DES), Education and/or Business Development is preferred.
Requirements:
- Experience in Education, Business Development and/or Disability Employment Services (DES) or similar employment services
- Current Open driver's licence and access to a fully insured reliable vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- National Police Clearance
