Description

Job Description:

You will work autonomously as part of a growing team, reporting directly to the General Manager. We are seeking a reliable person who possesses a broad range of practical skills to undertake general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of all areas within the building.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Technical and manual skills to ensure maintenance standards are operating to their highest level.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple task requests and work autonomously.
  • Plan and assist with repairs, maintenance, and installation activities.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with maintenance contractors and suppliers.
  • Carry out inspections of facilities.
  • Comply with maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to Management on request.
  • Work closely with the other departments to achieve high-quality service, presentation, and delivery to guests.
  • High attention to detail, exceptional time management and ability to multi-task.
  • Ensure work, health and safety policies are adhered to.
  • Upkeep and maintenance of safety equipment and service as per requirement.
 

Skills And Experiences

The successful applicant will have:

  • Knowledge of general maintenance and building repair.
  • Tiing and paiting experince.
  • The ability to work in a small team.
  • To be able to carry out manual handling.
  • To maintain a high standard of work.
  • Awareness and understanding of current OH & S legislation.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Pride in their place of work.
