Assistant Manager - Trade & Tools - Ashfield

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and motivate a team of 5+ staff to deliver strong sales and exceptional customer service.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including rostering, delegating tasks, and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Be hands-on on the sales floor while coaching the team to hit KPIs and achieve targets.
  • Support the Store Manager in executing business strategies and implementing operational initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate Looks Like:

  • Strong retail management experience, having led a team of 5 or more in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about sales, hands-on, and able to delegate effectively to empower the team.
  • Interested in career progression, with ambition to move into a Store Manager role.
  • Relevant, consistent experience in retail, ideally with some interest in tools or trade products.
  • Reliable, motivated, and professional, with flexibility to work at least one weekend day.
