Operational Officer

In this role you will provide efficient and effective linen service duties, including production and distribution of linen to Linen Service clients, achieving efficiency whilst maintaining a safe work environment and delivering a balanced workflow that will meet our customer requirements.

What you'll do

  • Sorting of soiled linen
  • Feeding linen into production equipment to fold and iron.
  • Hand fold of linen
  • Packing of clean linen
  • Distribution of linen at facilities
  • Operation of tug equipment

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use automated machinery and some computerised equipment.
  • Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and team members and ability to effectively communicate and influence staff.

Please note:

  • This is a manual handling position requiring you to:
  • repetitive manual handling of laundry items
  • feeding linen into machines
  • handling linen items
  • sorting soiled linen.
