JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Collecting and disposing of general waste and emptying general waste bins
  • Ensure disposable PPE and other items are always stocked for production staff
  • Ensure the production floor is kept clean from dropped meat / liquid
  • Chemical handling
  • Ad hoc, admin kitchen cleaning (dishes, bench-top wipe downs, etc)
  • Adherence to WHS and quality standards

JOB CRITERIA

To be successful in this role, you will be physically fit (heavy lifting at times) and possess:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role with the Food Processing Industry
  • A highly organised and structured approach to tasks – target oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A high level of initiative, and proactive-ness
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Australian Work Rights
