About the role:

We are looking for an individual to provide hands-on assistance in the home, offering practical help with daily tasks while bringing a compassionate, caring presence. This role is ideal for someone who finds joy in nurturing others, creating comfort, and making everyday life smoother and more enjoyable. There may also be potential to pick up additional shifts located across the Southside of Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being confident in cooking and preparing meals tailored to the client's preference.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.
  • House cleaning, laundry and tidying.
  • Running errands.
  • Pet care and dog walking.
  • Being a compassionate and emotional support.

Ideal Qualities:

  • Naturally empathetic and patient
  • Reliable and discreet
  • Comfortable around pets and familiar with basic animal care
  • Enjoys cooking and creating a cozy home environment
  • Able to adapt to different household routines and personalities

1 shift per week, every Thursday with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts for leave coverage. If you are interested, you should have:

  • NDIS Worker Screening / Yellow Card or ability to obtain
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate or ability to obtain within 1 month of employment
  • Driver's license
  • Own car (kilometres reimbursed)
  • Physical strength to assist with transfers from chair to car
  • Good communication skills
  • Sound phone skills
