Bridge IT Engineering
is seeking a
Mission Thread Modelling Specialist
for a federal government department with offices in the
ACT.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertake System Modelling using the CATIA tool.
  • Conduct maintenance and use of the modelling tool and associated library.
  • Support the conduct of planning and executing modelling.
  • Support the development of associated modelling artefacts and reports/documentation.
  • Support the maintenance and development of specified modelling libraries.
  • Where directed, undertake modelling training.

Essential Experience

  • Ability to undertake Model Based Systems Engineering within the CATIA modelling tool.
  • Software Engineering/Computer Science degree or equivalent knowledge/experience.
  • Experience writing engineering documentation and reports.
  • Ability to communicate using System Modelling Language to express engineering concepts and designs to military customers and non-software vendor representatives.
  • Experience undertaking systems and or network modelling.
  • Experience in Defence engineering processes or with Defence systems.
