is seeking three
Engineers and one Senior Manager to join our consulting team supporting the Joint Warfare Development Branch (JWDB) in Canberra. This work is at the forefront of shaping the future design of the Australian Defence Force, applying Joint Mission Design (JMD) to align Defence capability with the National Defence Strategy 2024.

The Roles:

Working within a blended APS, ADF, and contractor team, you will:

  • Contribute to Functional Mission Design (FMD) and Physical Mission Design (PMD) activities.
  • Translate operational scenarios into functional requirements and capability options.
  • Provide joint operational insight into the design process, ensuring realistic and achievable force outcomes.
  • Assess force gaps, risks, and interfaces across multiple time horizons.
  • Support Defence's transition toward digital Joint Force Models (JFM).

Who We're Looking For:

  • Systems / Mission Design Engineers – ex-ADF engineers with Defence operational (Joint and Allied) and model based systems engineering experience.
  • Senior Manager – with strong joint operational experience, ex-ADF, able to provide practical operational context into mission design.
  • All candidates must hold a minimum NV1 clearance and be able to work onsite from Russell Offices.
