We're currently seeking a Protection and Secondary Engineer to join our high-performing Applications and Products team. This is more than just a role - it's a chance to lead regional support efforts, contribute to national projects, and collaborate with a global powerhouse in energy solutions.

You'll work closely with both our nationwide team and global experts, driving success in critical infrastructure projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with clients to understand their needs and craft tailored protection and control solutions
  • Deliver hands-on expertise in secondary systems integration and device configuration
  • Collaborate with our customer care team to solve complex engineering challenges
  • Lead customer training, product updates, and create engaging technical documentation
  • Stay on the leading edge of industry trends and emerging technologies

What you bring:

You may hold a formal qualification in power systems - or have gained equivalent experience in electrical generation, transmission, or distribution. Either way, we'd love to hear from you.

We're especially interested in candidates with skills in:

  • SIPROTEC 5 platform, including DIGSI 5 software and hardware
  • Reyrolle protection devices
  • Secondary protection system design and integration (especially in HV transmission, transformer, or rotating plant applications)
  • IEC 61850 standards and experience with IEDs, station/process bus design, and modern protocols.
