About the role

As the Leading Hand Carpenter, you'll lead the day-to-day workshop activities at our Distribution Centre. You'll supervise team members including yard hands and service persons ensuring timely, high-quality work on the refurbishment, repair, and fit-out of portable buildings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing carpentry work and modifications on portable buildings
  • Supporting installation and demobilisation on customer sites
  • Coordinating workshop schedules and ensuring safety compliance
  • Mentoring the team and fostering a team-focused environment
  • Conducting QA checks and collaborating with internal teams

About You

If you're a qualified carpenter with strong leadership skills and a passion for quality builds, this is your chance to take your career further.

  • Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent)
  • Strong hands-on skills in custom/modular/portable carpentry
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Great communication and team coordination skills
  • Forklift licence or willingness to obtain
  • Physically fit and safety-focused
