About the role

Mink Building Group is seeking an experienced Carpenter or an apprentice carpenter to join our dynamic team on the northern beaches, NSW. As a Carpenter/apprentice carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the construction and renovation of residential and building projects. This is a full-time position, offering competitive remuneration and opportunities for professional development.

What you'll be doing

  • Interpret and follow detailed construction plans and blueprints
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wooden structures and components
  • Install and finish various types of flooring, doors, windows, and cabinetry
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on existing structures
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What we're looking for

  • Relevant trade qualifications or experience in carpentry or cabinet making
  • Entry level and apprentice candidates are encouraged to apply as formal qualifications are not mandatory
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
