Following the completion of the Dayforce implementation phase, a new opportunity is now available for a HRIS & Shared Services Team Leader. This position is designed to utilise your technical proficiency and administrator expertise with Dayforce HRIS while providing leadership to a newly established team of 5 professionals within Shared Services.   

As the Dayforce expert, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing enhancements to optimise the efficiency of the Dayforce HRIS, improve user experience, and effectively communicate and promote the system's benefits to the business.

Reporting to the Payroll & Shared Services Manager, you will be a key member of a large broader HR team comprising approx. 60 professionals who collaborate to support both the business and our employees. In this hands-on role, your strategic approach, solution focussed mindset and people leadership skills will support your success.

Your strong technical expertise combined with your ability to understand the needs of both HR and business stakeholders is essential. Your ability to effectively translate and interpret requirements to achieve positive outcomes while supporting a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment will be critical.

Your role will include the following:

  • Managing Dayforce system refinements, modifications and efficiencies
  • Leading Shared Services team – providing direction on contract and compliance management
  • Partnering with key stakeholders within HR and across the business
  • Designing insightful Dayforce workforce solutions, dashboards and reports
  • Maintaining the security, integrity and accuracy of employee information within Dayforce
  • Providing technical support and training of the Dayforce system to key stakeholders
  • Developing policies and procedures related to Dayforce and Shared Services team
  • Managing and refining Dayforce projects related and BAU matters
  • Dayforce troubleshooting and vendor management

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication, interpersonal and analytical skills along with the ability to maintain a big picture mindset. Additionally, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar technical Dayforce HRIS post implementation position
  • Dayforce HRIS administrator experience - Essential
  • Experience in leading a high performing Shared Services / HR coordinator team
  • Ability to effectively liaise with system Vendors
  • Develop and maintain relationships with a diverse range of key stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications within Human Resources, Business Management or related field
  • Adherence to the confidentiality and protection of sensitive information
  • Ability to communicate in a succinct and effective manor – verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to simplify complex concepts and provide report commentary
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills essential, Power BI - advantage
  • Willingness to obtain a Police Check
