About Arcus

Arcus Capital Advisory is a boutique capital advisory and fund management business based in Sydney. We focus on private credit, structured lending, and special situations across Australia and the Pacific. Our team combines experience in law, finance, restructuring, and capital markets to originate and manage high quality lending opportunities for wholesale investors and family offices.

Arcus is currently finalising the establishment of its first managed fund, the Arcus Boutique Credit Fund, with a major trustee partner. This new fund will expand our ability to raise capital and deploy into secured private credit transactions with a strong emphasis on capital protection and disciplined underwriting.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated mid to senior level professional to join our team and help grow the Arcus platform. The role blends relationship management, investor engagement, deal origination, and credit assessment. You will work directly with the directors on capital raising, transactions, investor presentations, and portfolio management.

A key part of this role is the ability to bring established investor relationships into the business. The successful candidate will already have a trusted network of family offices, private investors, or advisers who actively allocate to private credit or alternative investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with wholesale investors, family offices, and advisers
  • Support capital raising and investor communication activities
  • Originate and evaluate private credit and structured lending opportunities
  • Undertake credit and financial analysis on potential borrowers and deals
  • Prepare investment papers and materials for internal review
  • Work closely with legal, valuation, and trustee partners through due diligence and settlement

About You

  • 5 or more years of experience in private credit, banking, investment management, or corporate finance
  • Existing, demonstrable relationships with investors, capital partners or family offices
  • Must possess existing investor relationships with $5M+ capacity for private credit allocations
  • Proven ability to source capital or lending opportunities
  • Strong credit and financial analysis capability
  • Confident communicator with a professional network in private wealth or family office circles
  • Self motivated and commercially minded with the ability to work independently

What We Offer

  • Direct access to decision makers and involvement in every stage of a transaction
  • Opportunity to participate in an incentive program
  • Competitive base remuneration
  • Exposure to a diverse range of unique and interesting private credit transactions across property, corporate, and special situations lending
  • A chance to build with a growing fund manager as we expand our investor base and portfolio

How to Apply

If you have experience in private credit, commercial lending and a network of investors or deal sources, we would like to hear from you. Please submit your CV and a short cover letter outlining your background and the types of relationships and transactions you have been involved with.
