About the role
The Senior Investment Operations Analyst is part of the Investment Enablement team, which exists to support Cbus' Investments front office implement the investment strategy, mitigate operational risk and deliver reporting to inform decision making.
The position will play a lead role in managing the Fund's investment reporting obligations to both internal and external stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical capability, stakeholder engagement, and a solid understanding of investment products, superannuation regulations, and operational processes.
You will be responsible for maintaining a robust analytical and reporting framework for the Investment Operations team. Key areas of focus include:
- Support the Investment Operations Manager to ensure that the Fund can leverage the custodian's investment operations and reporting capabilities.
- Ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant reporting of investment-related data to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support key stakeholders within the Investment's area
- Assist the Manager in providing direction and guidance to the investment reporting analysts inc oversight of tasks performed.
The role will require investment operational experience, ideally within investment operations/reporting at a superannuation fund or investment manager. You are able to demonstrate and apply proven knowledge of various custodian roles and investment operations.
Prior experience in APRA regulatory reporting along with a demonstrated understanding of current APRA reporting obligations, including the additional obligations as part of APRA's Superannuation Data Transformation (SDT) Phase 2 Program will be well regarded.
