As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Intermediate to Senior Taxation and Business Services Accountant to join our dynamic team.

The Role

This is a pivotal role for a professional who thrives in both technical accounting and client relationship management. You will be responsible for preparing tax returns and financial statements, managing a portfolio of clients, and ensuring compliance for SMSF clients. Whether you're already at a senior level or an intermediate accountant ready to take the next step, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain strong, professional relationships.
  • Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies.
  • Compile financial statements for a variety of entities.
  • Oversee BAS/IAS preparation and lodgment.
  • Provide tax planning and strategic advice.
  • Support clients with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, BGL).
  • Liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team culture.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of recent experience in public practice.
  • CPA or CA qualified (or working towards).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in client-facing roles.
  • Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, and Microsoft Excel/Word.
  • Solid understanding of SMSF accounting and compliance.
