Accounting Leadership Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide personable and high-quality service to clients, building lasting relationships
  2. Apply your expertise in tax legislation and accounting principles to deliver practical solutions
  3. Use lateral thinking to ensure client outcomes are met efficiently and effectively
  4. Conduct thorough research and analysis, interpreting data to support informed decision-making
  5. Delegate tasks to the right team members while maintaining accountability and support
  6. Collaborate with Partners to achieve client goals and contribute to team success
  7. Manage team workflow, ensuring a balanced workload and smooth project progression
  8. Mentor and guide team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge expansion
  9. Ensure client promises are met on time, providing updates when goals are at risk

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of experience in business services within public practice accounting
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a track record of guiding teams to success
  • Advanced technical skills in tax legislation and accounting principles, with practical experience in applying them
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – to articulate complex ideas and build strong client relationships
  • Proven ability to manage and delegate tasks effectively, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to think strategically and deliver client-focused solutions
  • A commitment to professionalism and high ethical standards in all aspects of work
  • CA/CPA qualification
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • A collaborative and solution-oriented mindset, willing to share knowledge and expertise with the team
