Causeway Hotels is thrilled to have recently opened its new 4.5-star boutique hotel; The Howey aims to provide our guests with a unique and bespoke 'How to Melbourne' experience.

We are currently looking for passionate makers and creators to be part of our team at Causeway Hotels.

We encourage our team members to showcase their unique personalities; our people do not give photos with poodles & pooches, we don't do star jumps, we just sincerely love looking after our guests and colleagues with the most personable service to ensure they experience their happy space in our beautiful city.

About This Opportunity

Causeway Hotels is looking for Guest Services Colleagues to join our expanding and evolving team.

Guest Service Agents are an integral part of our team and ensure our guests receive the very best first impressions, a central point of communications during their stay and a warm Farewell.

Our Guest Service Agents:

  • Provide an exceptional Check in and Check out experience,
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills,
  • Assist guest with tourism information to make the very best of their visit,
  • Are proactive and mindful about safety and security of the hotel and its guests,
  • Care about guest issues and aim to resolve them,
  • Thrive in a team setting,
  • Are positive, honest, well presented and professional,
  • Undertake general administration work & cashiering,
  • Are flexible to work a 7-day rotating roster.

Some desirable skills/experience:

  • Experience working in a hotel environment.
  • Analytical, communication and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook)
  • Previous experience using Opera Cloud PMS
  • Multi-Lingual
