About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Guest Service Agent (GSA) to join our team on a casual basis hours per week). This role requires prior front office experience and involves not only guest services but also assisting with our breakfast buffet and evening wine bar service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm welcome and high-level service to all guests
  • Handle check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism
  • Assist guests with reservations, special requests, and local recommendations
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and booking systems efficiently
  • Assist with the breakfast buffet, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests
  • Help with the evening wine bar service, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere
  • Work collaboratively with housekeeping and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Maintain a high standard of presentation and professionalism at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience as a Guest Service Agent (GSA) in a hotel is essential
  • Minimum 2 years of Guest Service Agent experience is required
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience in food & beverage service is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work a stable roster with some flexibility, including early mornings and evenings. Earliest 6am, latest 12am.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a commitment to excellence
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
