Overview:

Join a well-established Australian IT services firm delivering high-performance Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions to our well regarded clients. This is your chance to lead the design and lifecycle activities related to the deployment of Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms and services, with a heavy focus on security controls and management within existing and new customer environments. About the Role:

As a Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer, you'll take ownership of security-first solution designs and implementations across client environments. You'll act as a hands-on technical lead across Microsoft 365 and Azure, with a strong focus on governance, documentation, and operational best practice.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and deploy secure M365 and Azure cloud environments
  • Create solution design and technical documentation and advise clients on cloud strategy
  • Lead security configuration, monitoring, and remediation projects
  • Maintain security standards and operational management control across projects
  • Mentor junior engineers and help build a culture of learning and growth
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions

What You Bring:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT and Microsoft 365, including 3+ years in a senior engineer role.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure, with certifications in M365 & Azure, and particular focus on Security-related certifications.
  • Experience designing cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or M365).
  • Familiarity with security frameworks, ITIL, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong documentation skills using tools like Visio, Lucid chart, or equivalent.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • AWS Certified: Solutions Architect – Professional
  • VMware Certified: Professional (VCP)
