About the role

Join the dynamic team at Foodies Market as a Dairy Assistant. This full-time position is based in Lynwood WA 6147, where you'll play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the dairy section of our lively supermarket.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with the stocking, rotation, and display of dairy products to ensure optimal freshness and availability
  • Heavy lifting capability is required for handling dairy product deliveries and restocking activities
  • Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, answering questions and making recommendations
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the dairy fridges and shelves
  • Liaising with the inventory team to monitor stock levels and identify any ordering needs
  • Supporting the wider store team as needed with tasks such as checkout assistance

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, ideally within the grocery or food industry
  • A minimum of 1+ years retail or customer service experience is required
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service
  • A passion for food and an interest in the dairy industry
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
