Blow Moulder Operator

About this Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Blow Moulder Operator to join our Production team at our Harvey Fresh site. 

Reporting to the Production Manager, your duties will include:

• The operation, adjustment and cleaning of blow mould and associated production equipment to comply with Lactalis specifications, operational and safety standards.
• Ensure bottle stock is rotated and stock levels are adequate to cover production requirements.
• Minimise wastage including product, packaging, process inputs, time and chemicals and to report excessive wastage to the Coordinator.
• Assist in maintaining regulatory, company and quality systems through the completion of operating logs, downtime recording, Cleaning in Practice (CIP) testing and recording.

Requirements: 

• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
• Good attention to detail
• Experience in a dairy food manufacturing environment will be highly regarded
• High level of attention to detail, good at fault finding/trouble shooting skills
• Strong focus on quality and hygiene
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles - Desirable 
• Excellent communication skills including good numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to follow procedures and undertake quality checks
• Strong focus towards health and safety 
• Experience performing labour intensive and repetitive tasks
