About the role

Are you a reliable and safety-focused Front End Loader Operator? This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in operating carefully and efficiently. We promote and value operators that are slow and steady over hard and fast. We are a Brisbane based bulk commodity handler with a fleet of new well-maintained equipment. This job entails irregular shifts on a rotating roster including nights and weekends.

What you'll be doing

  • Operating front end loaders and other heavy equipment as required - stock piling, feeding hoppers, loading trucks
  • Performing pre-starts and inspections on equipment
  • Ensuring equipment is clean inside and out
  • Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations to maintain a safe work environment
  • Working with our team ensuring each shift is completed as required for our customer
  • Random drug and alcohol tests are done on site

What we're looking for

  • Experience (minimum 1 year) operating front end loaders and other heavy construction equipment
  • Hold a valid driver's license with own vehicle and relevant construction industry tickets/certifications
  • Must hold a White Card as the required construction industry certification
  • Must possess a current car licence (C class) as the minimum driver's licence requirement
  • Knowledge of construction equipment operation, maintenance and safety protocols
  • Reliable and strong work ethic - able to work irregular shifts - nights and weekends
  • Australian citizenship is required for this position
