Brighton Lakes Recreation & Golf Club has a rich history dating back to the late 1920s when it was initially established as the North Brighton Golf Club. Following WWII, runway extensions at Sydney Airport necessitated a new location, leading to the formation of the New Brighton Golf Club in Milperra in 1950. After several relocations and redesigns, the Club eventually reopened in August 2019 as a thriving 18-hole facility with a modern clubhouse featuring bars, lounges, bistro and dining room, and a 300-seat function center, offering panoramic views of the course. The Club is located in Moorebank, New South Wales.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Greenkeeper located in Moorebank, NSW. The Greenkeeper will be responsible for maintaining the golf course turf by mowing, landscaping, and performing general maintenance tasks. They will also be in charge of irrigation management, ensuring the turf remains healthy, and assisting with any turf management activities. The role entails regular monitoring of the course conditions, addressing irrigation issues, and proactively attending to the landscape's aesthetic and functional aspects.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mowing and Landscape Maintenance
• Knowledge and experience in Irrigation management
• Skills in Turf management and general Turf maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle physical tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Formal qualification in Horticulture or Turf Management is beneficial
• Previous experience within a golf course environment is a plus
