We are seeking casual Farm Hands to help manage one of four modern Chicken Farms in Elbow Valley (Warwick, Queensland).

We do have short term accommodation on-site for singles in a Donga style arrangement (own room with bathroom) at $70.00 p/w until you find something more suitable.

The Role

  • Assist with feeding and watering livestock
  • Perform cleaning tasks, shed maintenance and waste disposal
  • Support bird delivery, pick up and clean out processes.
  • Monitor livestock welfare and report.
  • Follow strict biosecurity procedures
  • Be available to work every second weekend

What We're Looking For

· Experience in a poultry farm would be beneficial.

· Basic understanding of animal handling and farm operations

· Willingness to work flexible hours including every second weekend

· Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on farm work

· Experience with farm machinery operations is beneficial

· A passion for sustainable agriculture and innovation.

· Ability to follow RSPCA and WHS protocols

· Professional, dependable and a team player
