Position Descriptor:

The teacher is appointed to Instrumental Music based at KADINA MEMORIAL FOCUS SCHOOL and other networks as required. The teaching program encompasses the Kadina and Clare regions.

The position requires:

- small group instrumental teaching, individual year 12 tuition and ensemble conducting.

• working as a member of the school staff and in collaboration with other schools

• delivering instrumental programs based on Australian Curriculum and SACE frameworks.

This position includes:

- teaching woodwind and brass instruments in groups in primary years

• teaching one woodwind/brass instrument in groups in secondary years, and other woodwind/brass instruments by negotiation.

• conducting bands and ensembles in primary years, with secondary years by negotiation.

• using IT as appropriate.

• the position may include distance teaching by negotiation.
