**Position Descriptor**:
The teacher is appointed to Instrumental Music Kadina Memorial Focus School and other networks as required. The teacher will be based in Port Pirie or Crystal Brook and work in a network of adjacent Mid-North Schools.

The position requires:

- small group instrumental teaching, individual year 12 tuition and ensemble conducting.
- working as a member of the school staff and in collaboration with other schools
- delivering instrumental programs based on Australian Curriculum and SACE frameworks.

This position includes:

- teaching woodwind and brass instruments in groups in primary years
- teaching one woodwind/brass instrument in groups in secondary years, and other woodwind/brass instruments by negotiation.
- conducting bands and ensembles in primary years, with secondary years by negotiation.
- using IT as appropriate.

The position may include distance teaching by negotiation.
