Join this close-knit company of 25 friendly people providing invaluable support and services to its 40,000+ members.  The company culture is incredible - the team is experienced, many have been with the company long term, and are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and passionate about what they do.

Reporting to a delightful and engaging Manager, you will join a team of 5 to ensure all members are provided with exceptional customer service.  Extensive training in all aspects of the role will be provided to you by a warm and friendly leader within the team as you settle into the role.

Key duties:

  • Assist members with incoming requests and enquiries over the phone, in-person and via email
  • Open/close member accounts
  • Accurately update member and employer information into the system and keep detailed file notes
  • Follow up, reconcile and process monthly contributions/payments
  • Assess request eligibility in line with relevant guidelines
  • Ensure all required paperwork and information is received before accurately processing requests and other related details into the system
  • Contact members and employers to follow up information or outstanding accounts
  • Assist management with requests for updates or information
  • Undertake special projects as directed by the team Manager
  • As a joint effort with the team, attend to reception and various admin tasks as required

Customer service experience is essential, call centre or office-based experience will be highly regarded and preferred.

Exceptional customer service skills, good MS Office skills, and being detail-oriented will ensure your success in the role.  A positive attitude, a strong work ethic and genuine 'care-factor' will make you a perfect fit within the team

This is initially a 12-month contract role with the potential to be extended.
