Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner – Team Lead

Location: Coburg, VIC

Accessible Care is expanding our dedicated Allied Health and Support Services team, and we are seeking an experienced Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner – Team Lead to join us in our Coburg office.

About the Role

As a PBS Practitioner – Team Lead, you will play a key role in:

  • Providing evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support to participants across a diverse range of needs.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of PBS practitioners and support staff.
  • Conducting comprehensive functional behaviour assessments and developing tailored behaviour support plans.
  • Ensuring plans align with NDIS requirements, the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission standards, and best practice frameworks.
  • Facilitating training and ongoing competency development for support workers and families implementing strategies.
  • Supporting Accessible Care's vision of delivering compassionate, participant-focused services that promote independence, dignity, and community inclusion.

What We're Looking For

Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or a related discipline.

Strong clinical knowledge and experience working with behaviours of concern.

Registration (or eligibility) as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Commission (Proficient or Advanced highly regarded).

Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.

High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop comprehensive reports and behaviour support plans.

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and driver's licence.
