Job Description

The Opportunity

Are you passionate about driving organisational change and making a lasting impact? Does an opportunity to steer a diverse business through a dynamic transformation journey excite you?

If so, we've got the role for you.

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Change Practitioner to join our Technology division on a 12-month maximum-term contract

In this position you will step into an established portfolio of work and immediately contribute to delivering change initiatives across the organisation. The role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects while collaborating closely with the broader Change Practice and project delivery teams.

Reporting to the Change Practice Lead, you will work with project teams, change leaders, and business stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and execute change activities for a range of technology and business transformation projects. Your focus will be on ensuring changes are delivered smoothly, adopted effectively, and embedded in a way that delivers lasting benefits to the organisation.

In this role, you will:

  • Plan and Deliver Change Activities – Create and implement tailored change management plans that align with project timelines, scope, and business objectives. Conduct impact assessments and stakeholder analyses to identify who and what will be affected.
  • Engage and Support Stakeholders – Build trusted relationships across the business, maintain stakeholder registers, develop engagement materials, and address resistance constructively. Ensure stakeholder voices are heard and integrated into change strategies.
  • Communicate with Impact – Develop and deliver clear, timely, and engaging communications across multiple channels, ensuring stakeholders are informed, prepared, and motivated to embrace change.
  • Support Learning and Capability Building – Conduct training needs analyses, develop training plans, coordinate logistics, and ensure teams have the skills and knowledge to operate confidently in the new environment.
  • Maintain Change Tools and Resources – Use and contribute to RWWA's established suite of change management tools, templates, and frameworks to ensure a consistent approach across projects.
  • Track and Measure Outcomes – Understand key success metrics for each change initiative, monitor adoption rates, prepare progress reports, and recommend adjustments to improve results.
  • Promote Sustainability – Drive lasting embedment by working with change champions and offering post-implementation support.
Qualifications

About You

You are a motivated and adaptable change professional with a passion for helping organisations and individuals navigate change successfully. You can balance the rigour of structured change methodologies with the flexibility needed in a fast-moving environment.

To excel in this role, you will bring:

  • Change Management Knowledge – Practical understanding of change management methodologies such as ADKAR or PROSCI, with experience applying them to real projects.
  • Stakeholder Management Skills – Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, build trust, and manage resistance effectively.
  • Communication Strength – Proven ability to develop and deliver compelling messages tailored to different audiences, both verbally and in writing.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Ability – Ability to interpret data and feedback to guide decision-making and improve outcomes.
  • Resilience and Agility – Comfort working in changing priorities, managing multiple projects, and remaining composed under pressure.
  • Technical Proficiency – Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration tools (MS Teams, Confluence, Jira), and familiarity with data analysis/reporting tools is advantageous.
  • Qualifications – Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Communications, HR, or IT) or equivalent relevant experience.
