About the Role
IRT Kangara Waters, ACT is seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate Senior Care Coordinator to drive high quality services. This role strives to improve all areas of care whilst ensuring our residents achieve an optimal quality of life with a focus on legislative requirements.
We are looking at Full Time opportunity, which includes working Monday to Friday (9:00am to 5:00pm).
Your work may include:
Supervise and manage the care team to ensure the standard of care provided allows residents the highest possible quality of lif

Monitor all residents' care needs to meet their preferences in consideration of cultural, religious or ethnic backgroun- d
Participate in case conferences and evaluate care plans as per polic- y
Complete resident assessments on admission and as needs/care change- s
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines are undertaken while assisting in maintaining budget and financial requirement- s
Ensure programs for meeting the needs of seniors are coordinated and developed according to IRT procedures and are designed to account for individual rights, needs and preference- s
Constantly strive to attain improvement in all areas of work by participating in continuous improvement program- s
To Be Successful You Will Have
A current registration as a Registered Nurse wit
- h AHPRA
A Comprehensive knowledge of clinical issues of ageing, including dementia related disorders and management of challenging behaviour- s
Working knowledge of the- Australian National Aged Care Classification(AN-ACC)
Experience in a similar supervisory role (desirable- )
Previous experience in team leadershi- p
Excellent written and verbal communication skill- s
