The Role

As Maintenance Manager, you're the go-to for keeping our properties running smoothly. You're quick to respond, can think on your feet and have the know-how and experience to handle situations when things don't go to plan.

They say good things come in three and we'd have to agree. You'll lead, train and roster a team of three as well as have eyes and ears across three central Sydney properties in Bondi, Surry Hills and Glebe.

You're proactive, applying preventative measures and prioritising both short and long-term needs. Keeping to a budget and keeping tools and equipment in good nick is a must and you'll need to maintain accurate records of tasks and registers and ensure compliance with WHS, fire safety and regulatory requirements.

Reporting to and working closely with the Regional General Manager, this is both a leadership and hands-on role.

You'll mostly be on-site Monday to Friday during usual business hours and the occasional weekend on an as needed basis.

Who We Are Looking For

You're an experienced pro and this isn't your first time managing a multi-site role. Ideally you've worked in hospitality or accommodation before and appreciate that while this isn't a guest-facing role, you will interact with guests on occasion and showing up as an approachable member of the team is a must.

Keeping track of tasks and priorities come naturally to you and you get the importance of keeping things organised and open communication.
