What you will be doing- Assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day maintenance requirements of the hotel
- Strong project management and budgeting skills (CAPEX & OPEX)
- Oversee preventative maintenance programmes for building, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings
- Conduct maintenance requirements and follow up as scheduled and logged jobs
- Manage the maintenance team with a focus on talent development
- Lead safety and risk management within the hotel
- Previous experience maintaining hotels, fixed plant or equipment systems
- Knowledge of preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance strategies
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general repairs
- Enjoys working in dynamic environments
- Good written and verbal communication skills
