What you will be doing
  • Assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day maintenance requirements of the hotel
  • Strong project management and budgeting skills (CAPEX & OPEX)
  • Oversee preventative maintenance programmes for building, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings
  • Conduct maintenance requirements and follow up as scheduled and logged jobs
  • Manage the maintenance team with a focus on talent development
  • Lead safety and risk management within the hotel
Qualifications
  • Previous experience maintaining hotels, fixed plant or equipment systems
  • Knowledge of preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance strategies
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general repairs
  • Enjoys working in dynamic environments
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
