Job Summary:

The Kitchen Hand plays a crucial role in supporting kitchen operations, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene to ensure a smooth and efficient culinary workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and all cooking equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness across all kitchen areas, including floors, benchtops, and appliances.
  • Provide essential support to chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables.
  • Efficiently manage waste disposal and recycling processes.
  • Proactively support the kitchen team as needed to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of proven experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Experience with Vietnamese cuisine is advantageous, though not essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and safely lift heavy items.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
