Kitchen Steward

We're looking for an experienced Kitchen Steward to run our scullery and cleaning team for our brand new purpose-built headquarters Manufacturing Facility in Marrickville.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Coordinate the scullery team activities, duties and responsibilities.
- Roster the team Monday to Friday
- Manage a team of up to 6 people
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards within our manufacturing area
- Operate an industrial dishwasher and washing dishes/utensils/molds by hand when necessary
- Unload dishes, utensils, buckets and equipment promptly and store them in the appropriate places within the scullery section
- Remove garbage regularly within different production areas
- Ensure your area is left clean and tidy at the end of your shift
- Coordinate and carry out deep cleanings in manufacturing area
- General ad hoc cleaning duties

**Experience and qualifications**
- You must have full Australian work rights
- Previous experience in as a Steward / Kitchen Hand is essential
- Positive attitude, good communication skills, ability to work well in a team
- Ability to work autonomously with mínimal direction
