In line with our commitment to these values, we are looking to expand our Sydney team by hiring a Tender Manager.
What we are looking for:
· A highly motivated professional who has at least 5 years of experience in tendering, bid management, or procurement.
· Has a proven track record of managing successful tenders.
· Has a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, project management or a related field.
· Analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively assess tender requirements and develop winning strategies.
· Superior written communication skills; capable of writing compelling proposals and communicating complex and technical information clearly and concisely.
· Ability to work collaboratively with teams and effectively communicate with clients.
· Ability to prepare and deliver compelling visual presentations on proposals, including diagrammatically.
· Ability to effectively negotiate large, complex contracts and familiarity with service delivery contracts.
· Familiarity with the functionality of a variety of tender portals
· Capable of working to tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment.
· Attention to detail to ensure compliance with tender conditions and accuracy of information submitted.
· Has technical knowledge of OHS and risk management industry.
What you'll be doing:
· Identifying and researching new business opportunities and potential tenders that align with the company's capabilities and goals.
· Tailoring bid strategy, considering client requirements, competitive landscape, and company resources.
· Drafting high-quality, accurate, and compelling proposals that meet all tender requirements and are compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
· Working with internal teams (Principals, technical consultants, and scientific staff) to gather necessary information, expertise, and to develop service delivery plans.
· Calculating costs and prices and ensuring they are competitive and profitable.
· Reviewing bid submissions, gathering feedback, and making necessary revisions.
· Creating and adhering to a detailed timeline for bid preparation, ensuring timely submission.
· Coordinating and preparing presentations for potential clients and participating in negotiations with clients to finalise contracts.
· Development of collateral for tender submissions and proposals.
· Development and continuous improvement of tender procedures relating to the preparation of tender submissions
· Maintenance of the Company's contract register including communicating contract variations and reviews.
· Track tender submissions, industry trends and competitor activity, provide analysis for continuous improvement of the tender process/bidding strategies
