About the role

JRE Contracting PTY LTD is seeking an experienced MC Truck Driver to join our team in Townsville, QLD. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic company within the road transport industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate multi combination (MC) vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
  • Deliver goods and materials to various locations within and around Townsville and out of town
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
  • Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and company safety policies

What we're looking for

  • Current MC driver's licence
  • Minimum 2 years' experience driving heavy vehicles in the road transport industry
  • Strong knowledge of road rules and traffic regulations
  • Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safe driving practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
