About K&S Freighters

The role:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join our team for local deliveries only. You'll be transporting steel, timber or paper.

This is a hands-on role involving manual yard work. Day time shifts only, and no overnight travel required. The shift time for this role is 6:00am-2:00pm.

About you:

  • MC license is preferred, HC license will be considered

  • You hold a valid forklift licence, with experience in forklift operation

  • You have an MSIC license or are willing to obtain

  • You are confident with loading and unloading containers and trucks and with the ability to support load restraints

  • You're reliable, responsible and will approach to your working day with a positive attitude

  • You can follow instructions, and communicate effectively

  • You are willing to be cross trained in different areas of the operation including warehousing and stock take.

  • A strong commitment to safety regulations, ensuring the yard and warehouse safety standards are adhered to 

  • You're open to undertaking other ad hoc duties or tasks as they arise.
